I'm not an apologist. I have been as vocal as I've had time for about CCP throwing away programming resources on Incarna instead of fixing even a few of the existing issues . . . permanently. It is really depressing to see many of them come back after every upgrade.
My philosophy lately has been that I will continue to play the game no matter how badly it gets messed up in the name of progress. But there are limits. It shouldn't be that way, but forget me.
When so many people get upset about the same things, it's a bad sign.
I will say that I think you should concentrate on 'sustainable progress' and then I will shut up about the issue forever .

Someone else said it earlier and it did make an impression on me even then, but I want to say that I am proud of each and every Eve player who has added a constructive post to this thread.
To be honest, I have been feeling alienated because no other players seemed to even be interested in what I felt were some major issues with Incarna. I want to apologize for that.

I created my first alliance just before Incarna came out.
I finally decided to take a stand and just finished canceling all 4 accounts.

One thing that I would like to point out. CCP knows the stats on actual subscription cancellations. We lose OUR credibility if a thousand people say they canceled and CCP notices that only 1 person actually did it.

I don't want to quit eve. It's place where I could enjoy spending my free time and spin ships in stations, it's not like one day a candy factory stops making candy and everyone can go next door. Bring back the fun ccp, do it right and give us back eve online and more, all those dreams you shared at all the fan fests. We're fighting for it why aren't you cpp?
I agree completely. I have a lot of time and money invested in the game, and I, frankly, love it. But I love what it used to be. Not what it is turning into.
And, after reading some of the info leaks from CCP, they've lost any trust/respect/credibility they've ever had as far as I am concerned.

I think all of the issues have been covered in a t least one of the posts above, and there is no response.
It's kind of like Khaddafy deciding not to have his troops shoot at protesters. The problems remain, but there isn't anything else obvious to do about them.
Edit: There are a number of people trying to push the issue in every way they can think of. CCP's wall of silence is one possible response, but I think it may be their worst option.

I apologize to all of you, but, my first canceled subscription doesn't run out until the 3rd of July. I've made an agreement to pass on my alliance and my 'stufz' to whichever of my two managers continues to play, or let it burn if neither does.
So, I'm going to continue to play, and add to my stufz as long as possible. Unfortunately, two of my subscriptions were renewed this week, so the 4th one won't expire until July 22.
Once again, I'm sorry for the apparent lack of social conscience, but an addiction is an addiction.

Nope. No turning back now after reading Zulu's blog. What a flaming bunghole, and stupid as well.
How is it possible to miss the mark by so much?
I used to distrust CCP management. Now I dislike them as well.
